Michael Weigel opens new studio gallery in Haffkrug

For almost two years it is rumored on the Bay of Lübeck on the so-called "Burg" across from the pier of Haffkrug. Now the striking building on the beach is getting a new face: Michael Weigel is opening his studio there and at the same time inviting interested parties to visit him. Of course, the Travemünde gallery in the Maritim, whose 10th anniversary is being celebrated this year, will remain.
In Haffkrug, the unique sea view inspires the artist in his sometimes very large-format pictures, which can be perfectly presented in the light-flooded rooms. Readings and small concerts are also planned in the beautiful ambience.

Every day, before the official opening, visitors come to the sea painter's new studio to get a taste of the studio atmosphere or to reserve their favorite picture. A special highlight: on Saturdays between 12 noon and 4 p.m. Michael Weigel can be looked over his shoulder at work. The official studio opening will take place on Pentecost Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3 p.m. Cordial invitation!
